What we do
When we receive a valid notice we will act quickly to remove or disable access to the material, and tell the user who published it (and give them a copy of the notice, which may include your contact details).
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use the material, you can send us a counter-notice with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the material removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district where you live (or, if outside the US, any district where Crow Nest can be found), and that you'll accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
If we get a valid counter-notice, we'll send it to the person who complained. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they've filed a court action against you, we may restore the material about 10 to 14 business days after receiving your counter-notice.
Repeat infringers
We have a policy of ending the accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. We decide what counts as repeated, and we may act sooner for serious cases.
Other intellectual property claims
For trademark, privacy, defamation, or other rights complaints, write to hello@crow-nest.com with the Tool address and details. We review them case by case and may remove content in line with our Acceptable Use Policy.
